1.2% tax support

Every Lithuanian taxpayer can allocate up to 1.2% of their paid personal income tax (GPM) to the Lithuanian SEO Association. It isn't a donation out of pocket — it's a share of tax you've already paid, which would otherwise simply stay in the state budget.

HOW TO ALLOCATE YOUR SUPPORT
1

Log in to the VMI Electronic Declaration System (EDS) at deklaravimas.vmi.lt — via e-banking, e-signature, or VMI login credentials.

2

Under "Declaration," choose "Fill in a form" and find form FR0512 ("Request to transfer part of income tax to support recipients and/or political parties") — usually listed among the most-used forms.

3

Enter recipient code 308005689 (Lithuanian SEO Association) and confirm the system recognized the correct recipient name.

4

Specify the percentage — up to 1.2%. You can split it across several recipients if you'd like to support more than one organization.

5

Choose a period — you can allocate support for up to 5 years at once, so you won't need to refile every year.

6

Confirm and submit (not just save) the request by May 2 — for the previous calendar year's income.

GOOD TO KNOW
  • Any Lithuanian resident who paid income tax during the year can allocate support — whether employed or self-employed.
  • If you're required to file an annual income declaration (GPM311), it must be submitted without errors — otherwise the support won't be transferred, even with a correctly filed FR0512.
  • Support is only transferred if you have no outstanding tax debt (or clear it before the transfer deadline, typically November 15).
  • If you don't submit a request, your 1.2% simply stays in the state budget — it isn't transferred to any organization.
  • You can file a corrected FR0512 before the deadline — the most recently submitted version applies.
